Checked fluids on the Ranger, all is good. Debating cranking the T-bars to bring her up a tad bit. She sits a bit low in the front for my liking, and I think she's lower than she should actually be anyway.

The F100, is still being neglected.

Think I finally got the slight rattling noise in the 72s motor figured out gonna be savin up for a Crane cam, lifters, pushrods, adjustable rockers and springs. Gonna first do the rockers and springs to see if it goes away then go from there.

Wanted to do something to the F100, so I went out to see what the rear brakes looked like, and see how hard they'd be to replace compared to the Ranger. The brakes look brand new, and the hardware consists of three springs, the adjuster, adjuster cable, cable tensioner, and shoe hold down springs. The rear brakes on the F100 are 6 times as easy as the Ranger was. I'm looking forward to doing the rear brakes on the F100!

Well the 85 left me on the side of the road thursday so I was late for work. Dad was off on vacation so he rented a trailer and drug it back home with the 86. Figure its the computer that we swapped in tellin the injectors to fire at the wrong time cause before it died I had to floor it to keep it goin and started backfirin out the exhaust. So im just gonna bite the bullet and put a 4 bbl on it, pull all the emissions crap and extra vacuum lines out and be done with it. Also took the insurance off the 72 so I think you can pretty well guess what that means.

No, what does that mean? Amen to the carb swap, I seriously think a 500 or 600 cfm 2bbl would be the chit on that motor....

Maybe 60 Kelvin is cold. But 60F is ideal.
