How good is Western Chassis parts? I found these lowering shackles and seem like it will drop the rear of my truck without removing any leaf springs.

When you use drop shackles, it lowers the rear suspension without modifying the leaf pack. Really easy to do and drops are usually 2". And it costs less than $100

I ran across them today. Now all I need is 94-96 Lightning front springs

every set of shackles i find say they are for 1983 models and up. mine is a 82 model will it still work for me or is my only option to remove a leaf?

Sorry it took so long to answer.

Yes it will work. 80-96 is basically the same. I used 2 in lowering shackles on my 85 it said 88-up had to do a little mod to one of the crossmembers for the bed for the bed to fit properly. There will be more coming as time and money permits.

Yeah I did. But after rupturing a disc again,I plan to drop it more all the way around.

I dropped a truck 3/5 and it was just right, didn't have to cut the frame and C-notch it. (All Belltech)
