water cooled alternator

Worked on an 06 VW Tuareg. Bolts all broken off in the bottom pulley. Got a new pulley, bottom timing belt gear, timing belt, serpentine belt. Put it all together, ran great, just a coolant leak, FROM THE BACK OF THE ALTERNATOR.

The 470, 4 cylinder MerCruiser engine Mercury marine offered (used a 460 ford head) had a water cooled voltage regulator... The cost of replacement regulator, something like $350.00.
