Hello All. I Have Owned These Leaky Ford For Over Twenty Years But, You Cant Beat Em Off Road Especially The Older Ones. On That Note I'm Having A Couple Of Problems With Two Different Rigs. The First One Is A 75 F250 Factory Hi-boy 4x4. I Had An Alternator Wire Melt Against The Motor. Replace That Wire Still No Charge. Replaced The Rest Of The Wires Still No Charge. ( Took Out The Fuse-able Link On That Years Ago). Replaced The Voltage Regulator Still No Charge. Replace The Alternator Still No Charge. Took The Alternator Back To Test It They Said It Works. I Think They're Wrong Any Thoughts? Problem #2 I Have An 86 F250 That I Am Trying To Put A Dual Battery System In. I Have The Aux Battery In. I Have The Isolator In ( A Mio Pro). The Problem I Have Is I Can't Figure Out How To Wire This Alternator To The Isolator. I Can't Find The Charging Wire. Please Help Me!!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome to FTF.
Chances are if they tested it and it checks out OK, then it will be something with the truck wiring.

Here is a link to a troubleshooting manual that might help:

You can tie your isolator into the positve battery terminal of your existing battery....keep in mind that diode type isolators will not properly charge an auxiliary battery due to the forward voltage drop of the diode....you would be better off using either a manually activated solenoid or follow the Ford camper wiring which is essentially the same idea with the solenoid except automatic.

You might want to not capitalize every word in your post....makes for a difficult read.
