VIN/door plate decode

Out of town away from my books...and won't have time to look through the FTF literature til late tonight...anybody out there have it in their heart to decode this for me??? VIN, not worried about...dont care about the WB...but from the non-existent color code to the dso code, I'd appreciate...looks funky to me for some reason. Thanks.

Just realized how hard that is to read...X361 (is this a cab/chassis notation) ABM(???) A(NP435, I know that one) 24(shouldn't there be a 3rd digit for a 4x4 truck???)

Where did you get the breakdown codes for ABM? Here is what I got.

A=vinyl Bench seat
B=Blue interior
M=Styleside pickup

Off a old print out I had the ABM was listed as AB that was blue vinyl
the M was a paint code for white listed beside it.
Yours is probably correct as I have no clue where I got that old page from

Late to the party, Ben. The '78 manual does not list an X361. The DSO, since it has more than 2 digits, is a special order from the Denver office. It could be the "361" number is tied into the special order.
