Valve covers

Any preference on valve covers? I'm looking at chrome ones... I can get out of Summit with an Edelbrock set with breathers and gaskets for around $60.

I personally don't like it because it's already a pain taking care of my wheels.I think it's also cause I like a factory look under the hood of my truck.

I see. The truck gets a good clean every week, so nothing new on my end. I an going to really clean up the engine bay and do some tucking. The goal is to have a clean bay, with a little shine.

That air filter is funky...Definitely don't care for it.

Never been a fan of the cheap chrome VC's. I prefer the stock VC's only thing I like better are the MT covers. Clean em up and paint them...you'll be surprised what that can do.

I like those too...I just think they're over played by alot of folks. I mean really, how many stock engines are rolling around with Ford Racing covers...poser alert. If you have a need for them or have a rip snorting beast of an engine, that's one thing...but a stocker, no bueno.

Go with a nice set of aluminum valve covers....that cheap chrome will pit and rust in a year or two...
