Blow off valve, it looks. Some African-American inginuity there!!

Let's you blow off pressure when you shift so the turbo stays spooled up.

I think you're right. Blow-off's are usually on the intake side. DOH!!

powerstroke is a gr8 motor!! i love them..

but cummins is also gr8 just that im a fan of cummins but they just come in the wrong truck..
