There is really no such thing as the AODE-W. I guess u can technically call it that, considering the 4R70W is a revised version of the AODE with wide ratio gearing.

and i've seen a few 302 powered 2wd trucks with the AODE, pretty rare but its like the F-150s with a 302/E4OD combo...rare but they do exsist.

blacksnapon beat me to it..

yes i do work at a dealership, look at my Sig.. York Ford Inc. Saugus MA lol

me and blacksnapon have access to the same "database" if you will

if im not mistaken, heres the order:
AODE-W-->4R70W

E4OD--> 4R100

I hear alot if people say the 302/E4OD combo is rare, but all the people i know around me with this gen F150 have 302/E4OD combo..

Wow, didn't realize this thread was this old...anyways. I replaced the MLPS previously when all this started and assumed it had fixed the issue...wrong. So, I'm still fighting this and not happy with the clarification process thus far lol. I have no problem buying a new TC(I can get a higher stall one) or a solenoid pack...it's the new transmission that has me a little sweaty.
