Ok so there seems to be a lot of debate's over doing a transmission flush vs drain and fill. I just bought a 2007 F250 6.0l with 92,000 miles. Suggested maintenance is a tranny flush every 30,000 (sorry I know I am preaching to the choir here). Carfax tells me my truck was flushed around 30,000 miles but I have no clue if it was flushed around 60. Some say if you have not had flushed it every 30 you shouldn't do it, for fear that it will loosen up crud that has built up in corners and crevices which doesn't always get flushed out and can cause havoc on the tranny. I heard a story once about dealership refusing to do a flush because the guy had around 70k miles and never flushed before. The dealer saying it was too risky for fear of damage to the tranny. I have called my local dealership and they said no problem they would do it. But I also know they would also have no problem fixing my out of warranty transmission if it fails. Funny how that works. What are your thoughts???
