Dark would look good...I'd never do it because I hate driving with tinted front windows, though.

*Maybe save up for another hubcap first. smiliestirthepot

I've got a 50% tint (not that dark) on my front windows and you wouldn't BELIEVE the difference it makes in the amount of sun that shines through. Never hurts my eyes and never burns my arm through the window :)

From May to September my drivers window is only closed when it rains....

Besides, tint makes it that little bit harder to see in the dark- I'll wear sunglasses that I can take off.

I'm with Tom, they look better without the caps. But alas, I think Jr.'s already got that covered, since he already took them all off. smilietease

legal in MO is 30% front and 5% back.
Last I heard Doc, legal in MO is 35% front driver and passenger AND anything you want in back?? That was just two months ago when I had the sides and the back tinted 35%. Oh yeah, I tinted the windshield 50%, but nobody has said anything yet. Not even the trooper that stopped me. That tint cuts the night glare and you can't really even tell it''s tinted. I like it!

Found this Doc:

Missouri Tint Law Enacted: 2002
HOW DARK CAN WINDOW TINT BE IN MISSOURI?
clear.gif

Darkness of tint is measured by Visible Light Transmission percentage (VLT%). In Missouri, this percentage refers to percentage of visible light allowed in through the combination of film and the window.

Windshield: Non-reflective tint is allowed along the top of the windshield above the manufacturer's AS-1 line.
Front Side Windows: Must allow more than 35% of light in.
Back Side Windows: Any darkness can be used.
Rear Window: Any darkness can be used.

HOW REFLECTIVE CAN THE TINT BE IN MISSOURI?

clear.gif

Similar to sunglass lenses, some tinting film contain metallic elements that help in reflecting incoming light and reducing the glare and heat generated by visible light.
clear.gif

Front Side Windows: Must not be more than 35% reflective.
Back Side Windows: Must not be more than 35% reflective.

OTHER MISSOURI RULES AND REGULATIONS

Restricted Colors: No colors of tint are explicitly banned.
Side Mirrors: Dual side mirrors are required if back window is tinted.
Certificate Requirements: Manufacturers of film do NOT need to certify the film they sell in the state.
Sticker Requirements: No sticker to identify legal tinting is required.
Medical Exemption: State allows medical exemptions for special tint. For more details about the specific terms of the exemption, consult your state law.

I was so glad that they made it a non issue when it comes to vehicle inspections. I was called every name in the book, and a couple wanted to bull up when they were rejected for tint. Too much is still illegal in Missouri, its just not an inspectable item.

In MA the side windows can be 35%, windshield can be tinted 3 inches down. Anything behind the driver can be what ever, technicly 35, but they dont give much hastle.. they cant get the meeter on the back window so you can do what ever for that.

I have 35 on front and 25 on back
