The V10 is DEAD

So I went to start it last night, and crank crank, CLUNK, wtf. No start, ok. Put battery charger on jump, still clicking. No start. WTF. Take starter out, all rusty. Ok. Spin engine with breaker bar. Its good. Put starter in tonight, click click wtf. Put new battery in, slow crank then starts up. KNOCKING/TAPPING LIKE A MOTHER! WTF take starter out not hitting anything, take lower flywheel cover off, nothing there. Ck the oil, full. Still knocking/tapping. Engine must have broke something when I went to start it. Yeyyy engine to do in the winter!!! SUPER RAGE I am felling right now!

Winter time always shows the weakness of vehicles. Thinking of moving to Vegas....

Sounds like timing chain to me. might try to pull the cover. If it is, i know my 5.4 is an interference motor, so I am ssuming the V10 is as well...

Took the passanger valve cover off today, full of sludge, looks like the oil was never changed in the truck, guess I will be ordering the new engine next week as I will finally have time to change it.
