ohh my god!! after 4 years of sitting.. a lnew batery new fuel and the thing starts right up!! i have a new respect for these 300 i6 now!!.. its now idling.. it idles a little ruff but waw.. still runs gr8!

needs a tune up.. tough!! and new exhuast has original cat and its glogged i think

Check to see if your SPOUT connector is in place-- this is the little jumper that you remove when you're setting the timing.

And yeah it sounds like you might need a new O2 sensor, unless the engine is just running lean on the right side and throwing off that sensor.

Which side what? The o2 sensor? Remember-- straight 6. Only 1 exhaust downpipe, lol. I don't really know how many o2 sensors those engines have, nor their location(s). I know nothing about the 300.

The SPOUT should be up near the driver fender in the corner.

Yeah some have that setup too. I'm not sure what makes it different. Perhaps 8th gen is near the dist. and 9th is near the fender. Just guessing

The spout connector on my old ranger (89 2.9 V6) was right by the distributor.

oh yeah very soon..

it doesnt have brake becuase the rear brake tubes are rusted, im gonna do a full brake tune up pads ( maybe calipers depends )

The spout connector on my 91 with a 5.0 is right at the distributor.I don,t know about the six.It seems like I read somewhere if it,s TFI then it is beside the distributor.

On my truck it's below the master cylinder near the ign. module on the fender. It's a black plug with a gray cap.
