The Dentsdes we find for sale - post them here

There is so much wrong with that first truck, 302 motor, wrong bed, emblems in wrong spot, 72-earlier tailgate. I hope he isn't trying to pass that off as an original 45K mile truck.

The crew would look sweet in a 4wd model with a set of 37's on it. Look at the friggin wheelbase on this thing!

Dunno why, but whenever I see custom spelt with a "K", it makes me want to run away.

I really like this one and think it's a pretty good price. Jams look pretty good. There are no pics underneath, mileage is high, although she states engine has been rebuilt.

Pretty good buy it now price. What do you guys/gals think?

Without personally looking at it I wouldn't give the current bid price for it.

Sure would be nice if they honestly described what was wrong with a truck. It never amazes me what people say to to sell something.

Virginia truck, absolutely no rust

Because it has been bondo'd up. Looks to me like a big rust hole thru the door. You can also see a big chunk of bondo that is missing from a prior repair.

And the bottom of this door looks like it is about to seperate from rust.

Something is not right with the front of the lower jamb either, probably replaced at some time. You can see a big crack in the metal/bondo.

So underneath is probably a mess and it looks like they did a lot of bondo work to it. Thanks, I appreciate the attention to detail on this. I'm looking for a daily driver dent and this one looked good. I'll keep an eye on it and keep looking.

Original Condition Camper Special from California!!

This truck is a rust free California Valley truck with only 34,600 miles! The paint, interior, engine, transmission ALL original and in excellent condition. It is rare to find a truck of this age in this condition with the options shown.

Options: 460cid engine, Automatic Transmission, P/S, P/B, Camper Special package, Two-tone paint Midnight Blue metallic and Wimbledon White trim with appearance package, Air Conditioning (operational), Cruise Control, Deluxe interior, AM/FM 8 track, Dual fuel tanks, Dual batteries (one installed), Factory dual exhausts, Sliding rear window (aftermarket, period correct), Compressor (aftermarket, period correct), Trailer braking system (aftermarket, period correct), Heavy duty cooling system, and CB radio(aftermarket period correct, not installed), Original owners manual.

There is the beginning of some corrosion on the front passenger fender (see pictures) other than that no rust anywhere else in the body panels. The bed is in good condition. The tires are in good condition but are over 20 years old as they are Wilson 16.5". The engine runs very smooth with no issues or leaks. Transmission shifts perfectly with no delay or leaks. Steering box seeps a little but does not drip. I have the truck parked in my garage and there is never oil on the floor. There is no evidence of any major mechanical work and none needed at this time. The AC needs recharge but is fully operational. Radio and speakers work perfectly. All electrical systems work properly...even the seat belt buzzer! Some scratches on the original paint, slight dent under passenger door mirror, rear passenger fender is missing 10" of trim molding(see pictures). Original California blue plates.

This truck is a time capsule...when will you ever see another one like this?

Yup....I didn't notice that. Not having 4WD is a deal killer for me. I live in snow country and I want a daily driver.

My guess on reserve is $10,000. But I doubt bidding will ever get that high on this in this economy.

Now that is a hell of a survivor.

4WD??? Anybody that puts that truck out in the snow on salt covered roads deserves a beating.
