Well guys, it was my first Saturday off in 5 weeks, so I had a cleaning and all out maintenance day. Beautiful weather up here too!

Oh there's a slideshow presentation part happening next week! I'm playing a 1978 clip of "Cat Scratch Fever" taken from an episode of The Midnight Special. Turns out Aerosmith, AC/DC, Thin Lizzy, and Golden Earring were in the same episode. What I would pay to have been there...

This is a great clip from the 1978 Cal Jam II. Starts with an interview and then one of my favorite Nuge tunes: "Gonzo". Also, the guitar is not tuned at the beginning of the song so he spends about a minute tuning it up, the guitar tech must have forgot.

Looks sharp Mike. Love then cab lights and the visor. Looks ready to make salvage out of a Chevy and pudding out of a Dodge.

I can't say much about Ted Nugent. I know I am dealing with an entirely different generation here on FTF so I need to step lightly and practice respect. Ted never did much for me. Now, I like Skynyrd, a lot. Zant and Rossington being two of the greatest guitarist of all time (my opinion). Not because they were in the same band. They were great no matter where they played. I play guitar and know a little about it. Bands I like that you ummm, older Gents might appreciate :-/ ... Creedence, ZZ Top (Love 'She got Leggs'!!) Marshall Tucker and some of David Coe's work. I am country and southern rock to the bone. This stuff that some call music? You know the stuff that goes 'thump thump thump thump' and they feel they must share it with everyone! I hate that crap! With a passion! Ok, sorry I got off on that. I'll try and do better in the future. ;-)

Thanks! And I'm not part of an older generation haha, still in high school. However, I am 100% with you on the music aspect. My favorites are Ted Nugent, Aerosmith, Rolling Stones, Bad Company, Motley Crue, and of course Skynyrd and Charlie Daniels. Basically, any 60's, 70's (I'm a 70's rock nut) and 80's rock minus Pink Floyd will do. Rossington is by far one of the most talented, I finally got the solo to Tuesday's Gone down (I have been playing guitar for four years). I am the only kid in my entire high school that doesn't listen to anything after 1990 (unless it's new material from an older band).

Ah, sorry about that Mike. Your profile didn't say to much about it. I am in 9th, should be in 10th. Had a little problem with the Principal and it cost me big time. Ended up costing me a grade among other problems.

Very light of me to just comment on the cab lights on your truck. It looks great all around. What a world of difference a good coat or two of wax can do huh? What a fine ride you got. Very sweet! I love it! I have a long way to go on my '67' I'm going to start on the inside first I guess. I am lucky as my truck doesn't need any mechanical work. He runs great just as he sits. Just a rotted out exhaust but taking care of that soon.

There isn't a band you mentioned I don't like. Just don't forget the Eagles. "It's a girl my lord in a flat bed Ford slowing down to take a look at me" Pleased to meet ya Mike, my name is Dylan. Later Buddy
