Tailgate trim panel ?

Did the upper wide trim panel that surrounds the tailgate handle change between 73-79 or is it the same through out that time ?

Thanks for the information Dennis. The guy I was refuring to was here at the weekly car show,I saw the parts layed across his hood but couldn't find him.
When I walked into one of the stores for a drink I saw him drive away.Haven't seen him since
