Tach sorta kinda doesn't work.

Went out to leave for class this morning, started my truck, tach didn't come up. Just sat on zero. I let it idle and warm up for about a minute, put it in drive, drove away, and maybe five hundred feet down the road it came up smoothly and worked properly all the rest of the day, including starting it maybe four times.

As you can see, seat belt light is on and oil pressure is up, so the engine's running.

I don't have a clue how these new tachs work..
But I'm curious to find out how they do work
