i have found a doner 78 f150 truck near my town to swap the body/running gear off my 78 f250 onto and wanted to keep the 1/2 ton springs front and rear my ? is the rear springs are 3" wide for the f250/dana 60 axle and 2.5" for the f150/9" is bolting the dana 60 onto the 2.5" springs going to be a problem with a 1/4" clearance on each side of the ubolts? i think it should work but has any one did this before and had any problems with things shifting around?
