You want more proof of why one should buy and use a coolant filter...

Here is a picture after using a coolant filter for just under 50,000 miles )I change my filter every 15,000 miles or so... now)... and here is the history.

1) Lower radiator hose replaced by dealer at 30,000 (drain and refill).

2) I flushed my entire system with distilled water and new coolant at 50,000 miles and installed the dieselsite.com soolant filter.

3) I change my coolant filters several times a year and did so more often (every 2 - 3 months) at the beginning.

4) With 94,000 total miles on the truck and using the filter since 50,000 miles... the picture below is a perfect example of what this filter is still taking out of my system!!!!

I flushed my system again (as above) at 100,000 miles and the filter this time around shows minimal deposits... but a few non the less.

Again...best mod you could add to your diesel truck... or car, if people made them for cars? smiliegitrdone
