Still Crying Any Ideas?

good day i think i finaly figured out some of fords "better ideas" lol i think years ago an engineer in the auto industry found a mechanic sleeping with his wife and decided right there to make his life a "living hell" lol
has any one figured out how to get a socket/extention onto the 4rth bottom head bolt on a 460 with the heater box in the way? i tried a bunch of universals from different tool brands [snap on/blue point ect] and nothing fit as the angle is just too great and other than pulling the motor the only thing that works is a box end wrench but i have no idea if i am even close to torking the bolt to 130 lbs any ideas?

flex head torque wrench won't fit?

Lift the cab

Practice torquing a few bolts to 130 ft/lb to get the feel of it and then you might be able to get close with wrench if it is the only thing that will fit. That's all I can think of at the moment

thanks guys i got the motor running so far no leaks from the head gasket so i guess i was close with the box end wrench but still some one at ford "over looked this little detail" and i still say the mechanic was caught sleeping with the engineers wife lol regurds joe

heh I woulda said loosen the tranny and engine mounts then jack it up. Glad you got it though Joe...
