'77 F-250 Custom 4x4
I have a couple of questions about steering column bearings.
First off, I'm pretty sure that my upper column bearing has bought it.
When I turn the wheel it makes an awful grinding noise and it is getting increasingly hard to turn the steering wheel.
Not to mention the slop in the column (I can wiggle the steering wheel left and right about half an inch)
This is a non-tilt, manual transmission column and is in a late '77 F250 4x4.
Does anyone have a part # for this bearing?
Also, what is the easiest way to change the upper column bearing?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, as this is my daily driver.
