starting engine work for my 67

i have a 67 f250, the issue i am having is that the head gasket is blown, BUT it has a 390 not a 352, so i do not know what parts to order, due to i know nothing about where this engine came from because it is not from this truck, and my uncle is not the original owner, so i doubt he knows where the engine came from either, can someone help me find out what this motor is out of so i can make sure i have the proper parts???

ok, so i have some more info for you guys so maybe you could help me out a little, it is a 5 bolt valve cover pattern, which all 390's are, and the first numbers on the engine stamp are C8AE

C8AE doesn't tell you much. We need at least one more digit.

Just make double sure it's actually a 390.. You can't be sure from the outside as they look the same..

Is that the number stamped on the block, or on the heads? I'm thinking that number is on the heads.
