Stall converters

I've had what stall converters do explained to me numerous times and just can't seem to grasp it exactly...that being said.......can I have it done again....I'm interested in getting one...but now since my truck will be seeing some offroad use as well as smoking the occasional mustang or wutever...I am very interested in maybe getting one.....

You don't know how to copy and paste? Click and drag your mouse cursor across the link until it is all highlighted, the right click it and click Copy, then open a new tab or window and right click the address bar and click Paste.

put a pi 3200 tc in my 02 gt and knocked 7 tenths off in the 1/4,and that's with a stock engine.i had just put a pi multi-disk 3000 in the truck shortly before i wrecked it.it gets the engine in the meat of it's power band if stalled correctly(just below peak torque output).
