some kind of overflow problem??

i just removed the front tank..the 2 lines that connects to the fuel pump.. i left them hanging there.. without plugging them up.. i turned the car on the fuel pump primed and it shoots fuel from one of those tubes.. thats soppose to connect to the front tank fuel pump

its like the rear fuel pump is sending fuel in the other tank becuase when i got the truck the front tank was bonee dry now its almost have full.. how to fix this problem??

Yes that is the way it works. However if you are filling one tank from another you have a bad check valve in the FDM in the tank being filled.
The fix the problem you replace the FDM in the front tank or plug the two hose ends because as soon as you plug the high pressure hose the return line will start dumping fuel also.

If you just want to plug them cut off the the fuel lines from the old FDM and weld the ends shut and snap them into the two hanging lines.

FDM = Fuel Delivery Module

The fuel pump is inside the FDM along with a jet pump, check valves (2) and a shuttle valve plus a reservoir with a strainer on the inlet at the bottom.

ohh i have a good complete FDM laying around from my 1990 F250 5.8 but front tank.. will it work in the rear tank?
