I bet you were pretty happy finding out you had a 390 instead of a 360. When I was 14 I remember my brother had a 78 F250 2wd that had a 390 in it and I don't know the circumstances, but that old thing ran hard.

The 390 is a damn good engine. The one in my truck has over 200,000 on it and is still goin strong.

I'll bet you get pretty decent mpgs out of it too with that 3.00 rear end...
