Here's my question....
How would you as the purchaser feel if you bought a new Chrysler product this past year when gas prices were in the 4.00 range and they were offering as an incentive 2.99 gas for three years. Nationally gas prices are well below that 2.99....

People who bought under that deal aren't obligated to pay more than the going price for fuel, are they?

I'd be somewhat annoyed, but I don't think I'd blame Chrysler...it's no thanks to them that gas prices are down. (Owning a Chrysler product might turn me against them, but that's a separate issue...)

Their Crystal Ball was fuzzy, and so was the consumer's. At the time, it was a screaming deal. Right now, they saved themselves a fortune. Whether they can save themselves is another question.

Ohhh yeah I forgot about that... If I think to make things good, Chrysler should offer a refund of xxxx dollars for the purchasers, that'd be equal or greater to the amount of gas that they COULD have bought (or rather, how much they could have SAVED), at a pro-rated price of course.

It's the EXACT same as if you buy a vehicle with no rebate and a few months later they're giving $5,000 rebates......whadda gonna do???
