Site locking up?????????

Hey fellas...I know a couple other guys are having the same problem as me, so I figured I'd bring it to attention. As of recently (the last week or so), it seems amidst late night post fests, the site is wanting to 'lock up', take forever to load pages and sometimes even gives me error messages. I've also noticed the last 2 days that it does it pretty much all the time. Is there any particular reason for this? As I said, I know at least 4-5 other guys are having the same problem. Thanks.

It just wouldn't post went back to the same spot instead of posting a reply.

Oh yeah...I also wanted to add, I'm only getting probably 1 email notification for every 12-15 that I should be getting...it's not a big deal, just figured I'd mention it since I've had the same problem in the past.

Whoops...double post due to lock up.


One more thing to point out, and then I think I'm done. When I go to 'New Posts' I'll see that there is a new post to be read...but when I click on the thread the new post isn't there. Then usually when someone else responds to the thread the post I was trying to read appears.

yeah i have been having the same exact problem lately. it will just lock up and not load.

I've been having similiar problems the past few days as well.

I suggest there are National servers across the country acting up and Not the FTF site.

Ebay has been awful this last 2 days.

Try doing some speed tests or pinging sites.

checked with the hosting company and didn't see any major server issues. they could have been doing maintenance though. If you guys get error messages feel free to post them or pm them to me, it will help narrow down any problems you might be having.

I suggest you are mistaken...as I've been having the same problemo.

The second I sign on, FTF locks up, and I have to boot to do anything.

It isn't happening anywhere else, Dennis...so it's not my server.

Alright...I know there was a post saying what was going on...cuz I got notified...but where is it now? Holy chit...it says Jurg is post # 10 and I'm post #13??????? Weird

It has been locking up for me and some posts don't show up for a few hours even though I have received an e-mail notification of a post. It is only happening on this site for me anyway.

It's been running perfectly for me for the last couple of hours, no lock ups and no delayed posts...guess we'll see what happens at midnight again. Oh...and for the record it's just this site that I've had problems with.
