Simmons drive shaft shop, Tucson AZ

A really cool thing happened yesterday I can't quit thinkin about. :)

I went in with all my drive shafts from my '90 F250 parts truck and the
two from the '91 Bronco and one that came in the bed of a parts truck.

Told them "forty nine and a quarter inches" Wade Simmons wanted to
know where I measured from so walked over to a new looking shaft
hanging on the wall and pointed it out.

He got it off the wall measured it, swapped out the caps from 1+1/16"
caps to 1+1/8" caps and handed it to to me and said...

"there you go :)"
"uhhhh... Ok, cool! :) ...so how much? :)"
"trade straight across :)"

Could not friggin believe it. :)

What's the chances of a guy coming to get a special size drive shaft
like I needed for my "3wd" to 2wd conversion, and someone else didn't
come get theirs more than 30 days before? Huh? :)

Could a little Ranger use that size?
I should have asked Wade the story.

Back 15+ years ago me and Wade fixed the drive shaft for my '75. :)
I say "we" because I helped where I could and he was in high school
and still new to the drive shaft fixing business.
It was cool, I had a blast! :)

Yeah, I know. :/
I'm easily entertained! :)

Yeah, wanna guess where I'm taking my "3wd" -to> 2wd
Bronco for an alignment? ;) They specialize in 4x4's. :)
Started out that way and early-on realized they needed
to do their own drive-line work to get it "right".
