Ok, its almost that time to hear my baby run again. Now i have a few questions that if its ok i can post here.

First one is.... Is there a special way to seat the Torque converter? I had to take my torque converter out with the motor because i couldnt turn my crank in order to get to the torque converter bolts...

I know first hand that if you dont get it right, you will blow the front pump in the transmission, and thats the last thing i need after a new motor. So again is there a trick, anyone know what the dept it is when you have fully seated?

Now for the rocker arms... Whats the way of torquing these??? Thank :wavey:

To get the t-converter fully seated in the the transmission on every ford I have ever rebuilt...yes there is a small trick to it. There are two positions it has to slide into.

Insert it...turn slowly by hand as you apply gentle pressure inward. You should feel one position slide in...keep turning and repeat the process...there are two steps it needs to slide into.

That is all there is to it.

I do not work on engines...so I have no clue there.
