School me on Super Duty Front Axle Seals

As I was doing brakes on the 05 F-350 I noticed a dust seal was out on the drivers side. No oil leaking, but the rubber seal is just laying on the UJ yoke.

Then I get to the passenger side, same friggin thing....

How do I go about replacing this thing? Is there some update to fix this little problem? When I replace it, is it going to do the same damn thing?

Mine fell out as well....dealer told me when I had it in for some other crap....they haven't crapped out yet.

There are updated seals. The axle has to be removed to replace them.

Any harm in just leaving them?

depends on your driving. Lots of nasty 4x4 use, yes. Daily driving, no, wont hurt anything. They just keep debris out of the tube.

mine feel out of the pass side, and that was after I put in new seals when I did some front end work,, dont even remember what I replaced, but I dont want to do it again LOL
