Running Outta Ideas

There are lots of companies producing stroker cranks and complete rotating assemblies these days in a variety of displacement configurations and strengths, everything from a stock type cast crank to a forged crank with H-beam rods, no need to have a crank machined or use dirty Chevy parts in your Ford. :WooHoo:

I used one of the kits. It was eagle. It ran around $1200 for the rotating, balanced assembly. It included pistons, rings, rods, crank, bearings.

I paid $1500 for mine and had to have it balanced because I used a 5.0 balancer and flywheel. Also upgraded to Trickflow pistons.

Just curious, do you have to get emissions done on that truck?
Nope, no emissions. It wouldn't even pass a visual. It has carb, full length headers, no cats...
