Has it got one of those oil filters that come with the cap? If it does, trash it and get a stock cap and motorcraft filter. Its not the filtration that's the issue, its how the aftermarket filter presses down on the bypass valve at the bottom of the filter housing. I've fixed some no-start trucks before by simply replacing the cap and filter.I took my truck to Jiffy Lube Monday for an oil change, when I left there, my truck was running rough and had no power. I took it back, they redid the oil change and changed the filter and filter cap that they failed to change during the oil change, that made it worse. Now it runs like crap. Today, it wouldn't start, I finally got it started several hours later but still running really rough. Any ideas?
