Rodeo drum brakes

Anybody know any tips for removing the drums? I got one side done already but cant get the other side to back off.

The Haynes manual says to use one screwdriver to depress the P-brake adjusting tab, and use another one to turn the adjusting wheel. I've tried this to no avail any other suggestions tips or tricks?

Depends if the adjuster is stuck or not. If it is, that makes it a lot more fun.... not. But you really don't depress the adjuster, you need to move it off the wheel.

If you are planning on replacing the shoes anyway, you could try spraying some PB Blaster or something similar on the adjuster to help break it loose.

Only reason I mentioned the shoes is I don't know what, if anything the Blaster might do to the shoe material.
