I've seen sleeves for the yokes, and wondered what they were for.

Once in a while I can offer some relevant advice

Duncans correct. Make sure there's not a raised edge around the groove
before putting a sleeve on. And don't forget to get the larger seal that fits the sleeve.
If you change the bushing, you should be able to jack up the transmission and transfer case AFTER unbolting the transmission mount.
