Removing a manual transmission?

The engine and transmission are both out of the truck. I sold the transmission and need to get it off of the engine, but I want to check how to do it before I break something.

2.3 and 5 speed from a Ranger.

Do I just unbolt the transmission from the engine and pull it off? Does the clutch then just unbolt from the flywheel? No springs or other parts will go flying?

yup thats it. just unbolt the 6 or so bolts and slide it backward from the engine. then undo the clutch pressure plate from the flywheel and the clutch will come out and the flywheel will be all that is left. the flywheel is just bolted on by about 6 bolts as well. you can take that off too if you want.
