Regular cab interior

Here's an easy question: what trim did the 'wall to wall' carpet come in. (Seen some with just the carpet on the floor, not the sides up front)

Here's a harder one: were there any options for insulation/carpet/trim behind the seat in the regular cab?

The carpet runs right to the rear wall on a reg cab

Reason for my asking is the bottom right pic

Can't explain it

..never seen it before

The parts book doesn't show anything like that

Front carpet or rear carpet for Crew cabs

Nothing else

Interesting. Always seemed that there should be something in the back, especially with the trim available on the supercabs.

On mine the only carpet was the kick panels.

On the 7th gens, it's usually offered at the Ranger XLT/ XLT levels and above.

Perhaps a gander at the parts book will alter that thinking.

There is absolutely no mention of carpet for the rear wall for 73-89 trucks

...yeah and what needs to be in the back is Dynamat and carpet, IMO.
So, I've BTDT ;)

You can make "should" happen if you really feel "should" is important.

ps- Check out the noise coming from behind the seat sometime.

The dent was pretty noisy inside. I never did worry, because I didn't have a muffler :)D) so it was no use dampening.

I do plan on making the interior on my F-Superduty all black, so I'm going to do something creative with the panel back there and the surrounding area.

Was is the important word when talking about my Dent. :)
Over $300 in Dynamat was a big part of what changed it.

It's much quieter than my '91 Bronco, but I'm still working on the Bronco.
YMMV on that need for quiet solid-sounding vehicle. ;)
But I've always lived on a dirt road (except Sacramento ~3 years).

Using the same muffler type, straight through 2+1/2" Thrush...

I had a knock off deadener in my eclipse way back when... The thing had a 'fart can' that threw a nice tune, but killed me on the highway. I popped the deadener in the spare compartment and in the hatch trim and it made an awesome difference.

I have XLT luxury interior pkg and the carpet is on the back wall and kick panels.

All across the floor clean to the back and on the ceiling and walls too.

Don't have pictures of the '75, but will take some when I center up the
bellhousing to fix the clutch trouble its had since the first time I took it
for a test drive. Believe it? Had 14.1 miles on it and already the clutch
wasn't right.

On the 6th generation trucks the back wall on the regular cabs went up the back wall of the cab, and the kick panels were also carpeted, but that was only on the Ranger, Ranger XLT, and the Ranger Lariat trucks, for my 1978 F-150 Ranger Lariat has the full carpeting through out the truck, and the Lariat had the extra insulation under the carpeting . Hopefully this is rather helpful for you, and everyone else .
