at its finest. well not finest. i put in my 300I6/460 intake snorkle and got a Spectre speed reusable drop in air filter and insulated the intake box top and the hoses from the box to the throttle body. did a quick throw together of it just to see if would somewhat work. it does make a difference. not a ton but enough that on saturday im gonna redo it nicely and neat. heres a pic.....

yep. trying to keep the air somewhat cooler. i missed a few spots cause how its shaped so saturday im gonna redo it all and have it about as close to perfect as i can.

ok i sure will. and honestly ive been thinking bout painting my valve covers color matched like you did yours. problem is finding the same color as my truck. its an odd color.

Get the color code, should be able to find a mix code for it somewhere then get some matched up... Cost a little extra, but it can be done.
