Recall parts have arrived!

Some of you may or may not know that the recall for the cruise control disable switch was recalled. Yes you read it correctly, the RECALL was RECALLED.

Well until now they haven't had the parts to fix the recalled recall but I just called Ford and the parts are in! He said I can drop by and have it done anytime, don't have to wait for the notice in the mail.

If you haven't had it done, you should disconnect your cruise control switch on the master brake cylinder or you're in danger of having an underhood fire. Trust me, I've seen pics of 8th and 9th gen trucks burnt to a crisp. THIS IS NOT A DRILL!!!

The recall was for a few, not all, that the fuse part is on the wrong wire. Some models, the hot wire is in a different place.

Mine's got the recall but they still don't have the parts in.....

Oh yeah? No one told me that... I'll take it in anyways so they can confirm that I've got the right setup. I don't wanna take any chances.

I just got a stack of recalls today . I contacted them the last round which one were off the road . Its their money . Nut My 94 has not got one yet.

what years? I got a 87-88-90 had the recall for the ignition switch on the 88 that one was purchased new-if ya buy them 2nd hand they never end them to ya! now it's a cruise control switch? wtf? all models are what?
