Rear block problem

I have a 2002 f250 diesel. I put a leveling kit on the front. Now I would like to lift the rear so it is higher than the front. I got rear 4" blocks but they are longer than what is on there. Meaning that there will be more contact to the leaf springs plus they hang over where they sit on the axle mount. Is this a problem. Is it a bad idea to put larger blocks on in the first place.

If you're lifting the rear that much, you might be doing a little number with the geometry of the drive train. It doesn't sound like much, but that will make your drive shaft a little shorter than it needs to be.

Why not. You tell me new to all this. It already has blocks on it. Why not just make them bigger. If you do what your talking about do the factory blocks stay on there.

I feel stupid asking all these questions but this is why I am here. Can I add a leaf or get a whole new leaf spring. Still not seeing the big picture about the block because its between the spring and the axle. No angles are changing that I can see.

it's a minute angle change in the driveshaft angles.... enough you may get a vibration..

the main thing about the lift block is it doesnt add any suspension travel.. just stiffens everything up.. which makes a much rougher ride, which wears tires out faster, and makes it easier to tear up suspension parts.

10-4 well I don't want that. I want to do this the right way. Looks like I'm on the search for a 2" suspension life for the rear. Went with rough country on the front so I guess that will be a good place to start. I do thank y'all this is my first time using a forum and it has helped.

Ok just talked to rough country. They have an add a leaf which will give me the 2" I need. They do not sell a whole new assembly that will give me the extra 2" I am looking for. Do you think this is the way to go, if not what.
