Rear Anti Lock Brake Light Came on..

Does anyone know if the speed sensor can do this although the cruise control still works?

:headbang: I wish I had a diagnostic computer..

This is on the '90 dually.

Any symptoms?

Pulling codes will poinpoint which sensor is causing the issue.

I think your speed sensor is on the transmission and it's gear driven.

Got alot of pedal travel, going to get the drums turned today so I can adjust the shoes (drums have a little warpage going on).
The sensor on this dude is on the top of the rear differential (unless there is more than one...).

No, I'm just surprised. I didn't think they put it up on top of the diff until 92-93. If that sensor is going out, your transmission would be giving you problems, not so much the brake. I think you'd get a CEL, not an ABS light.

check your brake fluid level, ABS light also acts as a low brake fluid waring light

i dont believe there is codes for the REAR ANTILOCK light. it comes on when it it is bad. i dont believe there is fault codes at all. also you cant pull the codes from a rear anti lock light either. and yes the speedometer is read from a gear off of the back of the transmission/transfer case. the rear anti lock is on the top of the rear diff.

Master cylinder?
Drums were warped to a point it took a total of 8 hours on a lathe to bring 'em back to round. They are at max, (new drums next time).
Adjusted the shoes, bled the system again, test run, no more pulsating brake pedal..

Pedal still feels firm, them slowly bleeds away another inch or so...

Pump it, like a rock...Let it set, mush..

it sounds like a bad master too me. best way to check the booster is to use the pedal just rolling!!.. see how it feels. then unplug the vacuum line from the booster. get in let the truck start rolling and step on the brakes. you should notice a substantial difference. if there is a difference then its no the brake booster
