Rag Joint Compatibility...

I'm standing here looking at a 78 Bronco that's being parted out...anyone know if the rag joints are compatible between 78 and 79 Broncos??? I'm going with yes...but wanna make sure first.

Ben, looks like the only difference in part numbers is between 2WD and 4WD. Different part numbers are listed, but I can't tell you what the difference is.

My source is the Mac's catalog.

And BGY just lists one rag joint for 78/79 Bronco. I haven't seen anything different from the two years.

Always good to have a spare. I'd like to find an NOS for my SC.

When I had mine replaced, the local repair shop ordered one from LMC(it was the only source he was aware of). Lo and behold, I got an NOS ford rag joint in the original blue and white box.

If I remember correctly, 78 & 79 4wd F 250 & 350s aren't listed.

Autozone used to sell them for like 5 bucks.....in the "HELP" section....
