So is the above photo of that switch what I should expect to see with an automatic. I guess I'll get out there and look...

im sorry im just gettting back to this ive been off and about the last couple days.

No that will be on both auto and manuals. Its your actual main ignition switch module.

Its not the like the old cars when the actual igntion tubmler (stick your key in turn..thing) had wiring going from it to coil and starter etc...now adays there s gear in there and two rods (for tilt) and at the end of the 2nd rod theres a hole in it, where that post of that switch goes in and and when you trun your key it moves the switch.

But it will have all your main wires on it...
