I looked at the one that looks like a Jeep. It's a kit that is based on a VW floor pan. Good flooor pans are extremely hard to find at a decent price. I've been searching for 2 years for one for my dune buggy.

Maybe you should head over to Mexico... they were still building them up until several years ago... I know what you mean though, not much left for floor pans in much of anything truly local here. Seems the older Dakota vehicles held out pretty good though, picked up a few that has more outer skin issues than underbody.

The problem with the Mexican built pans is that they used a front suspension that is not approved by the US dot. That is why they quit being imported into the US.
