Power Steering Box rebuild kit

Riotnrrd

Tennessee Chapter member
Hi folks;

I've got a 1979 F150 4x4 with a leak at the input shaft of the power steering box.

I'm guessing I need to replace the seals.

Questions:
1) Where is a good place to get replacement seals from? NAPA, Broncograveyard, other places?
2) Is it a good idea to just rebuild the thing (replace all seals, other stuff) when I pull it off?

Cost isnt too much different... looks like a seal kit would be around 30$, whereas a rebuild kit would be around 60$

Any information would be appreciated.... thanks!

I'd go to Bronco Graveyard for their rebuild. And it's always been my approach with something like that, if one part needs replacing, you can bet the rest of the parts aren't too far behind. So I'd go ahead do the whole shabang.
