The bumper guards are NOS. But I believe they stopped the rubber impact strip in 76 or 77.

Are you sure? I've seen them on plenty of 78-79's. They had them on 1980-1986's too.

Yea, I kinda got confused because they had impact strips all the way up to 96.

Did your truck originally come with those? I know on the 80-86 trucks they only came with the exterior protection group, which included the bumper guards and impact strip. I don't know chit about dentsides, so i'm just kinda curious how they were optioned.

No that bumper is original to the truck. I bought the guards

Yes, the rubber strip. On the 7th gens, to have the bumper guards, you had to have the rubber strip across the bumper too. I assume it's the same for 6th gens.

Nope, it's just a green truck.

I have bumper guards and no rubber strip around the entire bumper like in the picture. I thought that the rubber strip along whole bumper was an option (I want to say on Explorer package) but Bill or Dennis probably needs to answer that.
