iv had my 84 awhile and i bought it from my grandpa to restore and make my toy...but i was unable to do that because it was my only vehicle and im sure as most of you know it kinda hard to restore a truck and drive it at the same time...so m going to look at a white single cab f150 w a 5.0 in er' tomorro...its a stock truck exept for the rebuilt engine ...and he says there is a arm rest built in the seat and i couldnt tell from the pic and im wondering if it is like the back seat on mr crew cab 96' f350 w just an armrest..or if its like the front seat with the cupholders/ console in the built in armrest..could i get a lil clarification? im thinkin its the first

It could be either one-- just depends on which package the truck has. My rear seat is the solid bench with the fold down arm rest (no built in cupholders) while my front seat is the 40/20/40 split with the fold up armrest that turns into a seat (built in cupholders on the armrest). If it's an XLT, chances are it's a 40/20/40, though I don't think that's always for certain. If it's an XL or lower then it's probably a bench. Here are mine:

there is my seat....i didnt know if the flip down arm rest had cupholders in the little arm rest or if it was like ur back seat its an xlt pckg

o well my pic didnt post...its not a split seat its a single bench in a reg cab xlt so im assuming no cup holders

I don't believe there were any stock benches that had cupholders on the armrest but I may be mistaken. But you may notice that there is a gray plastic cupholder thing hanging off the front of my seat. Some of the bench seats have metal posts sticking out the front for attaching one of those cupholder deals. You can get the cupholders on eBay:

They also make a smaller one because the stickshift on manual trucks will hit the larger cupholder apparatus:

mine doesnt have the little plastic hanging thing like your rear seat im not really concerned about cup holders cuz im sure there is the slidind droor thing w cupholders in the dash if i remember right

Not on a gen 9. The sliding dash cupholder came in gen 10, at least it did for the super duties.

Not stock it didn't. Gen 9s never came with cupholders in the dash.
