All CC 4x4's were pre 1980. But geezus man, make up you're mind...I thought you ONLY wanted a regular cab.

Nothing...but try towing/hauling with a 300I6 and then try it with a big block. No replacement for displacement. Don't get me wrong, I love the 300, but I usually prefer the bigger platforms.
