really?, mine was a a little #1 next to the point thats susposed to be #1

Where on it? If you could check on it some time where is it in relation to the black cap on top of it?

I haven't, so you just saying transfer them based on their location on the old cap?

yea, make sure you hold the caps the same way as they would be mounted and transfer them

What's the wire with the piece of metal sticking out on one end?

you probably got a wire set that has 2 coil wire options, its probably one of those its hard to tell without seeing it
