Very nice man. Plans for the truck? Specs for the truck? And how many of those beers would I need before Ryan appeared attractive?

Plans for the truck are to bring it back to "like new". It has a 390 4 speed 3.73 axle best I can tell. Don't know about any of the engine internals. Truck had not run since the mid 90's or so. The welder is a Lincoln SA 200 with a 163 engine. It was made my best guess mid 70's hasn't run in as many years as the truck. I winched it out of the barn and onto the trailer.
Made it run with a new set of points and fuel pump. But really runs like crap.
oil pressure is kinda low @ idle but picks up nice right off idle. Carb rebuild and fluid change first I suppose then will look into a refresh of the engine and possible a moderate cam and set of headers.
Hope to get it reliable before snow flies. And sell my 97 powerstroke F350 4X4 Use the old truck for bad weather and farm work Been drivin the 97 since 98 time for a change.

BTW I don't know Ryan so can't say. but you remember the Willie Nelson song? "went to bed at 2 with a 10 and woke up at 10 with a 2" Use Shiner Beer with extreme Caution.

update:

Got the old girl running like a top now. Since my last post I have installed a new distributor, old one the bushings were completely shot. Rebuilt the holly.
Replaced the drivers side exhaust donut. fixed a couple of lights, and got it registered and insured. Gonna try to get it inspected this week but it has a pretty bad crack in the windshield. And even though the tires have a lot of tread they are fairly well dry rotted.

Btw,

Does anyone have experience with the cab clearence lights? I dont have a schematic yet but I have no voltage to the cab lights. I am assuming it is the headlight switch that is at fault right now. All the other marker lights work, havent pulled the head liner yet to look up there for broken wire. but my best guess is it has a seperate circuit off the h/l switch am I wrong?
