Pics of my 557 in my F-100

I think I'm ok with the short air cleaner. With my 472 I had o vacuum at wide open throttle through 6000 rpm. With this motor I'm to busy trying to keep it on the road to look at the gauge. Maybe after I put on my drag radials I'll be able to check. But until I get a load of mulch, the 32x12.5 reguls stay on. Randy.

Woot!
can I barrow it for the weekend?? :D

Settle down Nomad, it's a long bed, so you don't want it...

Give it to me instead :jumping:

Can't wait to see the drag strip results, please get some video! I'll be building a stroker for my '79 in a few years as well.

Torque Oplenty. You can get by with pump gas with aluminum heads, but that is about the limit. I have ran pump gas in a 466 with iron heads and about 10/1 compression by retarding the timing, but that cost horsepower.

I should be able to run pump gas on my 521 with aluminum trickflows and a 10.5:1 compression. Right now I have an E85 carb to be able to run a higher Octane pump fuel since it is readily available in my area.
