Hey Guys, this POR15 stuff. Does it leave a glossy look? I can appreciate the fact this stuff preserves and protects and last but I want it to (((((SHINE))))) You know? It's got to be about the shine! Not dull brush strokes. When someone is looking? It's got to be looking back. Someone behind me at night with their headlights looking under my truck? I want that diff cover winking at them. Yea,,, you guys know.

yes it is shines nice if you get the gloss. the blackcote its shinier than rustolium

Thanks Smokey, also would like to know about the prep chemicals that I see I am supposed to use. Necessary? Or sales pitches to get me to believe I 'need' these things? Thanks

I have used it once with out the prep but it looks better if you use it.
I would get it if you can afford it.

It has no UV protection and will get dull in time from exposure. Por recommends painting over with a top coat.

So guys, am I to understand that I will have to put like a clear coat over the POR that will be exposed to the sun? Like if I choose to use POR on my back bumper? This clear coat I will need. What am I looking at using? Or, can I spray over the POR with like a high gloss high heat black engine paint? What think of that! Thanks
